Bonnie's heeerree. These photos of her frolicking in the yard paint a rosier picture than what the last 24 hours have really been like at the Stevenson's.
I didn't take any pictures of the crying/yelping all night, the 2:00 a.m. exploding poo in her crate, or the grassy vomit clean-up at 6:45 this morning on my way out the door to work. Nor did I take pictures of the 10+ messes we've already cleaned up. Yes, Bonnie has had a traumatic start but things are improving, and we're getting smarter already. It's hard to blame her, considering we ripped her away from her pack and all. When we play on the sun porch she sees her reflecting and thinks it's her kin. Then she cries. Very sad!
She is still so cute, despite her puppy-esque behavior.
The neighborhood kitties, Bob Buttons and Black-and-White Kitty, just don't even know what hit them.
Neighbor Fred the Beagle doesn't care.

Oh how we feel your pain! Our first night with Sophie was eerily similar. :) She's adorable, though!!

Oh, Bonnie is very cute! Just focus on the frolicking and not the messes. That's pretty funny coming from me, who is constantly complaining about the messes our dog makes.
So we're planning on coming to Effingham the weekend of the 12th. Do you have official plans?
